  • The diagnostic validation lead engineer is responsible for verifying the implementation of diagnostic services, checking DTCs, and supporting issue analysis to ensure that the vehicle diagnostics meet project requirements for performance, attributes, and timing.
  • The network validation leader is responsible for verifying the implementation of network requirements, identifying faults in vehicle networks, preparing test properties, and investigating issues during testing to quickly trace and resolve problems.
  • The role includes creating test strategies, test plans, and test cases for diagnostic services;
  • Executing test cases and verifying diagnostic requirements;
  • Validating test results; and supporting issue analysis and the development of testing tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • In-depth comprehension of UDS (ISO-14229) diagnostic requirements, AUTOSAR DCM and DEM interactions, and ISO-11898 network requirements.
  • Knowledge and experience with major diagnostic parameter elements including Data Identifiers (DIDs), Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), and Routine Identifiers (RIDs).
  • Experience developing diagnostic requirements, implementations, or service tools for automotive electrical systems.
  • Experience using tools such as Vector CANDela Studio, CANoe DIVA, and CANoe. Experience with CAN, FlexRay, LIN, Ethernet, and DoIP.
  • Experience in vehicle network testing and knowledge of mock simulation on CAN and LIN.
  • Good understanding of vehicle network architecture, with hands-on experience in ECU flashing and variant coding.
  • Minimum six years of working experience in a vehicle diagnostics team within an automotive environment.
  • Ability to identify non-compliance to standards and resolve issues.
  • Ability to proactively suggest improvements in work methodology.
  • High level of analytical ability for handling unique and complex problems.
  • Experience with requirement cascade tools such as Codebeamer and issue-management tools like JIRA.
  • Knowledge of major automotive subsystems and electrical/electronic circuit operation.
