Position: Education Sales Consultant

Company: MM Publications Vietnam

Location: 25A Nguyen Binh Khiem, Sai Gon Ward, HCMC

Reports to: Business Director

I. ABOUT US

MM Publications is an international publisher of high-quality educational materials, specializing in ELT (English Language Teaching), Maths & Science. Operating in over 110 countries, we are dedicated to setting global standards in curriculum development.

Having built a 7-year foundation in Vietnam with two offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, we are now seeking an Education Sales Consultant who is responsible for driving sales and building partnerships with educational institutions by promoting and implementing MM Publications ELT textbooks and learning solutions, especially in ELT SME segment, to support our growth in Vietnam.

II. Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Promote, consult, and sell MM Publications ELT textbooks and educational solutions.
  • Develop new accounts with schools, English language centers, and key teachers.
  • Plan and manage sales activities to achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts while actively acquiring new B2B clients (schools, language centers, educational institutions), especially in the ELT SME segment.
  • Resolve client issues and complaints promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive and maintain strategic relationships with MM Publications Europe, and actively foster key relationships with local partners, referral networks, and agencies.

2. Academic & Product Support

  • Advise schools and teachers on suitable coursebooks and learning materials.
  • Conduct product presentations, book demos, and teacher workshops.
  • Support events, seminars, and conferences in coordination with related stakeholders.
  • Collect market and teacher feedback to support product improvement.

3. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.

4. Administration & Coordination

  • Handle quotations, orders, contracts, and payment follow-up.
  • Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and service.

III. JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experiecence: Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales within the Education/ELT sector.
  • Advantage: Prior experience at major publishers, large ELT distributors such as Oxford, Cambridge, Pearson, Macmillan, or National Geographic Learning, FAHASA, DTP Education is highly preferred.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English (all 4 skills), equivalent to IELTS 7.0+.
  • Other requirements: Demonstrates high autonomy and responsibility, proven ability to organize and execute sale plans effectively, providing timely, accurate feedback and strategic proposals to the Director.
  • Willingness to travel for business (specifically to the Southern region) when required.
