Role Summary
The role oversees operational cost control, billing accuracy, and operational excellence in ADA's supply chain operations. The role focuses on process standardization, COE development for best practices, warehouse and logistics cost optimization, billing governance, rate card management, and performance improvement. Import/export customs knowledge is a plus for cross-border operations.
Accountabilities / Key Responsibilities
- Billing and costing verification — set up structured monthly billing checks and rate card audits. Identify and recover overbilling, ensure invoices align with contracted rates, and maintain a repeatable verification cycle
- Warehouse cost control — oversee cost-to-serve performance by warehouse in the network. Maintain unit economics (cost/order, cost/item, %GMV) monthly.
- Warehouse & fulfillment cost optimization — identify cost-saving opportunities, benchmark costs across warehouses/vendors, optimize rate structures and warehouse utilization, drive rate card renegotiations.
- Operations Projects & Network Expansion: support cost modeling for new businesses, onboard new vendors, and assist warehouse migration when required.
- SOP & process governance — co-own SOP adherence with the Inbound/Inventory/Returns Manager. Drive standardization across the operations footprint.
- Operations Excellence / COE: Build and drive a Center of Excellence (COE) for best practices. Improve operational performance across fulfillment and warehouse operations.
- Import / Export Operations: Support cross-border fulfillment by overseeing import/export documentation and customs clearance coordination.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in operations, operation finance business partnering, fulfillment, or supply chain management.
- At least 1 year in leadership role managing teams
- Exposure to e-commerce, multiple vendors/ 3PL partners, or multi-brand operations strongly preferred.
- Prior experience managing billing audit, operational analytics, rate card negotiation, and cost management
- Proven experience in process improvement, operations excellence, or COE initiatives.
Technical Competencies / Skills
- Advanced Excel (index/match, pivots, what-if, power query) — non-negotiable.
- Working knowledge of Power BI or equivalent BI tools.
- Financial literacy — P&L, unit economics, variance analysis.
Behavioural Competencies / Skills
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving mindset
- Commercial instinct — knows where the money leaks
- Bias for structure — able to turn ad hoc work into scalable and repeatable processes.
- Self-starter with strong ownership — able to scope and deliver with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Cross-functional collaboration with operations, commercial, finance, and vendors
