RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bidding & Cost Saving Management
- Lead end-to-end bidding processes for assigned Private Label projects, including supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, commercial comparison, negotiation, supplier recommendation, and contract finalization.
- Conduct supplier benchmarking and market intelligence to identify sourcing opportunities, cost optimization initiatives, and potential new suppliers.
- Collaborate with QA, Supply Chain, Operations, Legal, and CAP teams to ensure bidding compliance and project readiness.
- Drive annual cost-saving initiatives through supplier negotiation, re-bidding, specification optimization, packaging improvement, and sourcing alternatives.
- Monitor supplier commercial performance and ensure compliance with agreed trading terms, service levels, and contractual commitments.
- Maintain bidding records, supplier databases, cost comparison files, and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies.
Business Case & Portfolio Management
- Manage business cases (BC) for all assigned Private Label new product development (NPD), renovation, and strategic sourcing projects.
- Prepare commercial recommendations and supporting documents for management review and approval.
- Track post-launch performance against approved business cases and identify corrective actions where necessary.
- Support category and portfolio reviews through SKU productivity analysis, profitability assessment, and performance evaluation.
- Maintain NPD pipeline visibility and portfolio tracking to support business planning and resource allocation.
Project Coordination & Governance
- Coordinate cross-functional execution of Private Label projects from concept approval to market launch.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Facilitate communication and alignment among internal stakeholders including Category, QA, Packaging, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Legal teams.
- Maintain project trackers, governance documents, approval records, and progress reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree or equivalent qualification in Business related subjects preferable.
- Preferred experience within the retail environment in relevant category (Bakery & Delica, Sweet & Salted Grocery, Beverage, Fresh Food)
- Fluency in Vietnamese (both written and oral), preferred intermediate level in English language.
- Customer-focused.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Strong analytical ability and good in data / figures.
- Abilities to use computer, office programs and database
