We are currently looking for a Microsoft Dynamics F&O Technical Consultant to join our Yokogawa Votiva Solutions team!
Role Description:
- Join the Research & Development (R&D) team as a Technical Consultant to design and develop the company's ISV packages (based on Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central), with primary focus on the VAS E-invoice Package (Vietnam Accounting Standards reporting) and delivery aligned to the ISV development lifecycle, additional technical tasks will be assigned as needed.
- Analyze business requirements for VAS E-invoice Package with functional consultants, propose technical solutions, estimate effort, and create technical design documents.
- Develop, enhance and maintain VAS E-invoice Package and related X++ components (data provider, queries, controller/classes), ensuring accuracy, performance, and upgrade-safe customization (extensions).
- Perform unit testing, support SIT/UAT, troubleshoot issues, and provide root-cause analysis for defects and production incidents related to VAS Package.
- Develop integrations and data exchange used by reports (Data entities/DMF, OData/custom services, file-based import/export) and verify end-to-end data correctness.
- Build, package and release VAS E-invoice Package deliverables across environments (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod), following ISV package lifecycle: build, release process, versioning, regression test, deployment across environments, and hotfix strategy.
- Create/maintain technical documentation (setup guides, troubleshooting notes, release notes) and provide technical support to internal teams and customers.
- The company can provide training in Dynamics 365 Business Central development to help you contribute to a similar VAS Package on Business Central, in addition to VAS Package for Dynamics 365 F&O.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE
- 3–4 years of experience as a Technical Consultant on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations with strong X++ skills.
- Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O reporting, especially SSRS report development (design, data provider class, query, parameters, deployment).
- Good knowledge of Visual Studio, source code branching control, and Azure DevOps (boards/repos/build/pipeline), plus SQL basics for troubleshooting and performance analysis.
- Solid understanding of Dynamics 365 F&O development framework: extension model, security basics, RunBase/SysOperation, batch jobs, multi task processing, and Data entities/DMF.
- Experience managing Dynamics 365 F&O environments in LCS: create Cloud-hosted environments, database backup/restore, move data from sandbox, and upgrade Cloud-hosted environment versions.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O integration, data exchange (OData, custom services, file-based integration) and ability to debug end-to-end issues.
- Experience building e-invoice integrations with e-invoice providers (e.g., Viettel, BKAV, VNPT) on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Good consulting skills: write technical documents, estimate effort, communicate clearly with functional/R&D teams, and take ownership of delivery quality.
- Proficient in using AI tools to accelerate delivery, including drafting code, reviewing code, validating best practices (e.g., performance, loops), creating meeting minutes, generating diagrams, and supporting TDD/test case drafting.
- Experience with Electronic Reporting (ER) or Financial Reporter is a PLUS.
- Experience in configuring RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Tool) for D365FO is a PLUS.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central is a PLUS.
- Experience with PowerApps Canvas App, Model driven app development is a PLUS.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations certification(s) is a PLUS.
- Experience with Azure data services used for reporting, analytics (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Fabric) is a PLUS.
Graduated from university, major Engineering in IT / MIS – Management Information System / BIS – Business Information System / Software Technology department.
