Director of Strategic Planning
Responsibilities:
- Bring strong strategic thinking and planning expertise to identify and solve brand and business challenges through effective communication strategies.
- Lead the development of brand communication by analyzing and interpreting data, consumer insights, cultural trends, and strategic communication frameworks.
- Oversee and develop comprehensive strategic plans including integrated communication plans (IMC), influencer strategies, social & digital communication strategies based on clients briefs.
- Confidently present the agency's strategic point of view to clients, internal teams, with clarity, impact, and conviction.
- Act as a trusted advisor and go-to strategic partner for both internal teams and clients on communication challenges and solution development.
- Take full ownership of end-to-end campaign strategy: strategic direction, planning, implementation supervision, and post-campaign evaluation to ensure continuous improvement.
- Lead by example as a team player while managing and developing other team members to ensure all tasks are delivered with excellence.
- Guide, mentor, and advise the broader team on best practices, innovative approaches, emerging trends, methodologies, and effective work processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams to ensure smooth execution and strategic alignment throughout the campaign lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of agency experience in brand strategy, communication planning, and strategic planning experience leading strategic direction is strongly preferred.
- Strong English skills with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A committed team player with high motivation, ownership, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proven capability to coach, inspire, and develop junior strategists and cross-department team members.
- Holds strong strategic acumen with deep understanding of industry dynamics, business challenges, brand positioning, consumer behavior, and market insights.
- Passionate about data, insights, creativity, ideation, and building strategies that drive measurable impact.
