Job Summary
Fraser Residence Hinode City in Hanoi Vietnam is slated to open in 2026. This role provides day to day leadership to sales employees to achieve property sales objectives with overall responsibility for achieving booking goals and property revenues. Develops strong working relationships to proactively position and market the property. Develops and implements property–wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand's targeted profile. Manages the marketing budget to enable development of property specific campaigns, promotions and collateral to drive revenue and meet property objectives.
Responsibilities
Core
- To support the opening of the property on time on brand
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders and managers as a trusted Director of Sales & Marketing to deliver effective results, in alignment with applicable regulations, and Company's Policy & Procedure
- Collaborate with the General Manager and team to develop a sales & marketing plan targeting market niches and segments.
- Manages the property's reactive and proactive sales efforts.
- Determines and develops marketing communication activities, in conjunction with Regional Marketing Communications.
- Monitor and review sales production, adjusting activities and priorities to achieve goals.
- Establish account qualification criteria and use market research to identify and prioritize accounts.
- Set up and oversee a sales administration system for portfolio and database management.
- Optimize room utilization by assessing demand and supply.
- Attends sales strategy meetings to provide input on weekly and overall sales strategy.
- Identifies public relations opportunities and coordinates activities to augment the overall marketing communication strategy.
- Supports the General Manager by coordinating crisis communications.
- Implements a seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales while consistently delivering high level of service.
- Maintains successful performance by increasing revenues, controlling expenses and providing a return on investment for the owner and Frasers Hospitality.
- Implements the brand's service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process and focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of the hotel's sales objectives.
Leadership
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve budgeted sales.
- Establish team sales goals and allocate key accounts to team members.
- Direct the sales team in achieving annual business targets, representing the hotel in external sales presentations, and negotiating contracts with customers and vendors.
- Participate in group, global, or cluster projects as assigned
- Perform other related ad-hoc duties as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business/ marketing/ hospitality management or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in Sales & Marketing in reputable international hotels.
- Proven Sales experience in the hospitality industry with knowledge of the Bangkok, Thailand market.
- Experience in pre-opening / start-ups will be added advantage
- Prior experience gained from working in hotel/serviced apartment market.
- Proficient in English and Thai language
- Resourceful and able to think creatively.
- Literacy in software applications, preferably in travel and hospitality operating software.
- A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-driven and able to work within tight deadlines
