Responsibilities:
A. Vietnam Business Ownership (Primary Scope)
1. P&L & Business Performance
- Own the full P&L and business performance for Vietnam
- Drive monthly gross collections and revenue performance aligned with company targets
- Track and optimize core business metrics weekly:
- ROAS
- Conversion rate (CVR)
- Average order value (AOV)
- Renewal rate
- Churn
- Customer acquisition cost (CAC)
- Make data-driven resource allocation decisions balancing growth and profitability
2. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Lead and develop teams across:
- New Sales
- Renewals (URI)
- Pre-sales
- Build systems to improve:
- Referral generation
- Cross-selling
- Customer retention
- Own and optimize the conversion funnel: Lead → Call → Booking → Completion
- Design and manage performance incentive structures aligned with business outcomes
3. Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead cross-functional teams across sales, pre-sales, operations, marketing, and academic functions in Vietnam
- Hire, coach, and develop team leaders and future managers
- Build a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and continuous improvement
- Design career development and compensation structures that attract and retain top talent
4. Strategy & Stakeholder Management
- Develop quarterly business plans with clear targets, priorities, and execution roadmaps
- Communicate business performance, risks, and action plans clearly to the Group CEO and leadership team
- Support strategic decision-making with operational and commercial insights from the Vietnam market.
Requirements:
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in commercial leadership, business operations, or general management roles
- Minimum 3 years of direct P&L ownership experience
- Proven success in consumer-facing businesses with subscription or recurring revenue models (EdTech, SaaS, consumer services, etc.)
- Hands-on experience leading both sales and marketing functions
- Experience building teams from early-stage growth or turning around underperforming teams
- Exposure to Indonesia or Thailand markets is highly preferred
- Background in EdTech or education is a strong advantage
Commercial & Analytical Skills
- Strong understanding of unit economics and financial performance management
- Ability to interpret P&L performance and identify the right business levers quickly
- Experience managing marketing budgets with clear ROI accountability
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
Leadership
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams at scale
- Able to build trust, delegate effectively, and hold teams accountable without micromanagement
- Comfortable operating both strategically and operationally
- Strong execution mindset with attention to detail
