III. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Define and execute the company's mechanical and hardware technology strategy and roadmap for Humanoid Robot in alignment with overall business goals
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and optimization of robot mechanical systems
- Lead and scale top engineering talent across Mechanical, Electronics, Motor, Embedded and Assemble Testing to grow the hardware team
- Partner with AI, Software, Control, Product and Operations teams to ensure system-level integration and product success
- Oversee the design, development, validation, and optimization of mechanical, electrical, and embedded hardware systems
- Manage hardware budgets, engineering resources, technology investments, and strategic partnerships
- Drive development of key subsystems including actuators, motor drives, power systems, batteries, sensors, embedded controllers
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners for scalable and cost-effective production
- Own the full hardware/firmware product lifecycle: concept → design → validation → production
- Implement rigorous design reviews, testing methodologies, and documentation standards
- Define and execute the company's hardware strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
IV. REQUIREMENTS
Relevant education and experience
- Master's or PhD degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- 10+ years of experience in robotics, mechatronics, electronics, or embedded systems engineering
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Deep expertise in mechanical architecture, actuator design, drivetrain systems, motion control, sensors, and robotic system integration
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols such as EtherCAT, CAN/CAN-FD, SPI, UART, Ethernet, and industrial fieldbus systems.
- Hands-on experience with robotic platforms, mechanical assemblies, actuator technologies, and product development from prototype to production
