Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Business Planning (20%)

  • Lead the development of annual and three-year business plans at both group and business unit level.
  • Drive long-range strategic goal setting, scenario planning, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Define financial and operational KPIs to measure organizational performance.
  • Provide senior management and the Board with timely insights and recommendations.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting (25%)

  • Deliver monthly management reports on financial and operational performance.
  • Oversee feasibility studies and integrated business case assessments.
  • Review budgets, margins, variances, and costs; highlight key trends and required actions.
  • Support senior leadership in Board presentations and decision-making processes.

Financial & Operational Management (25%)

  • Establish planning processes and evaluation criteria to strengthen financial discipline.
  • Conduct business modeling to assess risks and support investment decisions.
  • Implement policies and procedures to improve consistency and governance.
  • Actively identify and manage risks within the planning function.

Stakeholder Engagement (15%)

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business units, external partners, and financial institutions.
  • Support stakeholder communications with planning insights and presentations.

Team Leadership (15%)

  • Develop and lead a high-performing planning team.
  • Set clear objectives, manage performance, and foster talent development.
  • Promote employee engagement and a collaborative working culture.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; Master’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CFA) are advantageous.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in financial planning/strategy, with at least 5–7 years in a similar senior role within real estate or large-scale investment projects.
  • Strong command of English.

  • Expertise in corporate and real estate planning.
  • Proficiency in building financial models and forecasts in complex environments.
  • Knowledge of corporate law and specialized regulations related to real estate.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and apply new technologies.
  • Strategic mindset with integrity, ownership, and professionalism.
