Position: V-Dimensional Management Engineer
Location: Lot Cn3A, Deep C 2A Industrial Zone, Dinh Vu- Cat Hai Economy Se Dong Hai 2 Ward,, ông Hi 2, Hi Phòng City (Shuttle bus from Ha Noi every working day, pick up at AEON Long Bien)
The Dimensional Management Engineer drives development quality and supplier quality through robust dimensional control strategies from concept to ramp.
- Collaborate with Industrial Design (ID) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) to translate product experience intent into clear specifications, dimensional requirements, and measurable acceptance criteria aligned with development quality goals.
- Define and enforce dimensioning schemes, datum structures, and GD&T per ASME standards, ensuring compatibility with downstream assembly, system performance, and supplier manufacturing capability.
- Lead tolerance analysis (TA) and variation simulation analysis (VSA), driving cross-functional alignment on risk identification and mitigation plans to protect both development quality and supplier quality.
- Own Development Validation & Verification (DEV V&V) dimensional strategy, including planning, execution readiness, and quality criteria. Partner with suppliers to ensure measurement system capability, including fixture design, measurement procedures, metrology problem-solving, and system qualification (correlation, GR&R, attribute GR&R). Travel as required to support supplier quality execution.
- Drive supplier quality readiness by establishing dimensional control plans, auditing measurement systems, and ensuring adherence to development quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain DEV health dashboards, using data-driven insights to lead issue resolution across internal teams and suppliers, ensuring on-time ramp with cost and quality targets met.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and suppliers to balance functionality, manufacturability, and dimensional variation, ensuring optimal trade-offs that sustain both development quality and production quality.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ME and ODM partner teams on dimensional analysis methodologies, supplier quality expectations, and development quality processes. Actively participate in concurrent engineering and design reviews to maintain dimensional integrity throughout development.
