Digitalization Lead Engineer

Job Purpose:

Develop MES System with smart factory structure requirement (ERP-MES-SCADA-PLC/Sensor/Machine) and drive MES system implementation in the shopfloor to achieve business needs in terms of QCDS improvement and smart factory infrastructure build-up in Thermal Division Plants.

Key Responsibilities :

1. MES implementation project management – MES master plan and detailed plan including planning, execution and validation
2. Coordinating MES Functionaly design with customer, manufacturing and IT department, MES supplier to achieve business needs
3. Ensure Alignment of solution to specific business needs from each department and customer
4. MES Fuanctionality execution and detailed metrics and report format design
5. MES SCADA level build-up with supplier supporting
6. Maintain and optimized MES functionality to ensure right level of performance of the MES solutions with business needs
7. MES functionality training for all level people application
8. Troubleshooting while MES system go alive
9. Further development with internal team for MES evolution in terms of data visualization and data analytics through Power BI.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or above ,major in Computer science and technology, Industrial Engineering etc.
• +5 years experience with MES development and implementation .

Skills

1. Familiar with the functions and configuration of mainstream MES systems (such as Siemens, SAP ME, Oracle MES, etc.), SQL database, API integration, and data analysis capabilities
2. Can use C++, C#, Python, Java, Power BI, Fine BI Languages to program software
3. Success in PLC, Sensors and SCADA level application
4. Good Project management, communication and presentation skill, PMP certification prefer.
5. Familiar with technology –Traceability, 2D/QR Barcode, Real time tracking, Electric pull signal, Remote Data Visualization, Andon System, SAP, ESOP, etc
6. Familiar with Manufacturing KPI – OEE, FPY,UPPH, Inventory DOS
7. Familar with digital transformation technologies and trends in the manufacturing industry
8. Fluency in English, Understanding Manfacuturing and lean methodology is a plus
