Orient Software's Digital team is going through a deliberate transition. As we move into a more Commercial-focused phase - with clearer ICP targeting, stronger inbound pipeline, and the ambition to activate performance channels - we are looking for a Digital Marketing Lead who can own the strategy and make it run.
This is not a campaign manager role. It is for someone who understands how digital channels create pipeline, knows what good looks like for a B2B inbound funnel, and is ready to lead - both a direct report (SEO Executive) and external freelance web resource pool.
You will report to the Deputy Marketing Manager, and work in close strategic alignment with the Marketing Manager on Commercial direction.
What You'll Do
1. Digital Strategy & Inbound Pipeline
- Own Orient's digital channel strategy: website, SEO, LinkedIn organic, and email - structured around generating qualified inbound demand for B2B Commercial
- Define performance benchmarks and translate them into a clear measurement framework
- Build the strategy for activating paid channels (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads) when the business is ready - scoping, testing, and owning the results
2. SEO & Website Performance
- Own SEO strategy and execution: keyword architecture, technical SEO, on-page and off-page optimization
- Oversee website performance in collaboration with external freelance web resources - brief them clearly, review output, and maintain quality standards
- Work closely with the Content Lead to ensure SEO-driven content is aligned to Commercial messaging and the B2B buyer journey
3. Employer Branding - Digital Channels
- Manage digital distribution for EB campaigns: job ad placements, LinkedIn EB posts, and recruitment-specific landing pages
- Design and run A/B tests on recruitment campaigns to continuously improve application rate and candidate quality
- Track and report EB campaign performance with the same rigour applied to Commercial channels
4. Analytics & Reporting
- Own GA4, LinkedIn Analytics, and any paid platform reporting
- Build dashboards and regular performance reports for the Deputy Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager
- Identify what is working, cut what is not - fast and with clear rationale
5. Team Leadership
- Directly manage the SEO Executive: set goals, give regular feedback, and develop their capability over time
- Brief and manage freelance web resources effectively, maintaining output quality and timelines
- Contribute to Digital team SOPs, tooling choices, and ways of working
Who We're Looking For
- 6+ years in digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior individual contributor role
- Strong SEO foundation - both technical and content SEO
- Proven experience with B2B inbound - understands the difference between traffic and pipeline
- Solid analytics capability - GA4, LinkedIn Analytics, comfortable building reports from scratch
- Experience managing or mentoring at least one junior team member
- Good English - reading, writing, and communicating with international stakeholders
- Performance mindset even in organic-first environments - sets targets and is accountable to them
- Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to improve workflow efficiency - whether in research, reporting, content briefing, or automation
Nice-to-have
- Experience with paid channels (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Meta Ads)
- Exposure to A/B testing tools or experimentation frameworks
- Familiarity with ClickUp, Notion, or similar project management tools
- Experience working in or alongside B2B tech or IT services companies
- Basic understanding of CMS management (WordPress or similar)
- Ability and appetite to go further with AI - including lightweight scripting or prompt engineering
