DevOps Engineer (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Deploy, operate, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform to ensure consistency, version control, and repeatability.
• Orchestrate and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes, and manage application packaging and deployment with Helm and Docker.
• Manage and optimize SQL-based databases in cloud environments, including performance tuning, backup strategies, and security controls.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Bash, PowerShell, and Python to streamline system administration and workflows.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively detect performance, availability, and security issues.
• Provide technical input and solution design for complex, large-scale projects.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues across distributed and high-availability systems in production environments.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM).
• Deep practical experience with containerization and orchestration, including Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
• Expert-level proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Strong scripting skills using Bash, PowerShell, and Python for automation and system management.
• Experience managing and optimizing SQL databases in production environments.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Solid Linux administration skills; Windows experience is a plus.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
• Hands-on experience with Git and version control best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex, large-scale production environments.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
