Job Description
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust DevOps pipelines and infrastructure to support the development and deployment of our software products. You will work closely with developers, QA, and IT operations to streamline CI/CD workflows, ensure system reliability, and automate manual processes. Please note that this role involves working on a shift-rotation schedule to ensure continuous support for our systems and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation tools using technologies like Terraform, Ansible, or Bash/Python scripting
- Manage and monitor Linux-based environments (Ubuntu, CentOS) across development, staging, and production
- Investigate and resolve build, deployment, and infrastructure issues
- Implement system monitoring and alerting tools to ensure high availability and performance
- Work with development teams to improve software quality, release cycles, and scalability
- Improve and standardize configuration management and security hardening processes
- Collaborate with SAP consultants and developers to support deployment of SAP BTP-based services
- Participate in shift-rotation schedules to provide continuous operational support and maintain system reliability across different time zones
Your Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is strictly required for effective daily communication with international teams and clients
- 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Systems Engineering role
- Proficient with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes or Rancher)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); familiarity with SAP BTP is a plus
- Solid understanding of Linux, Windows system administration
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and management tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to SAP technologies or integration with SAP BTP
- Basic networking and firewall knowledge
- Familiarity with code quality and security tools such as SonarQube, Dependency-Track, Nexus, or n8n
