Job Description

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.

Develop and manage automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline) to accelerate software delivery.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application and infrastructure performance and cost.

Ensure security best practices are implemented across the cloud environment (IAM, security groups, WAF, etc.).

Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure a seamless transition from development to production (shift-left mentality).

Qualifications

Minimum of 1+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure-as-Code role.
Demonstrated expertise in operating and managing a high-volume, production AWS environment.
Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (Python or Bash).
In-depth knowledge of core and advanced AWS services, including but not limited to: VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, SQS/SNS, Lambda, CloudFront.
Strong understanding of Linux/Unix system administration and networking fundamentals (VPN, DNS, Load Balancing).

Nice-to-Have:

Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS).
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Familiarity with migration strategies (e.g., on-premise to cloud).
Prior experience in a fast-paced, FinTech or e-commerce environment.
