Design Ops - Senior Design Producer

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Design Producer, this role orchestrates the seamless integration of design into product development to deliver exceptional user-centered solutions. Leveraging a diverse skill set and extensive experience in design and project management, this role manages the design process within projects, providing governance, planning and estimating, coordinating resources and facilitating communication between designers, stakeholders and approvers. This role guides design teams in adopting agile methodologies earlier in the design process and supporting these agile practices across teams.

The Design Producer role is key in optimising our customer research and testing across our various testing platforms and providers. This will enable the team to achieve the best outcomes while reducing designer time and cost to the business.

The design producer will provide a layer of rigour and governance across the design process. With clearly defined Definitions of Done and Definition of Ready for each piece of work, and reporting that can be shared with stakeholders and design leadership to provide transparency on the progress of work.

MAIN CAPABILITIES & RESPONSBILITIES

• Deep understanding of design principles and processes and human-centered design methodologies.
  
  
• Strong project management skills to effectively plan, size, prioritise, and execute design work within initiatives
  
  
• Ability to run agile ceremonies like standups, retros and sprint planning
  
  
• Excellent communication, collaboration and negotiation skills to align cross-functional teams, and stakeholders
  
  
• Flexibility and ability to pivot quickly when priorities change within backlogs and the broader business
  
  
• Knowledge of metrics and how they can be used to effectively feed into design briefs
  
• Ability to move quickly to close off issues that may arise during design, and anticipate potential bottlenecks in advance
  
• Ability to focus on many tasks at once, attention to detail, and willingness to step in and fill gaps in process
  
• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.
  
  

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years experience in roles covering aspects of design producer accountabilities
  
• 3-5 years in a corporate or design setting
  
• Previous roles may include Experience Designer (CX/UX/UI), Scrum Master, Product Manager, Project Manager/Coordinator Agile Coach.
  
• Experience working in agile or iterative development environments, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver successful products.

Qualification Requirements

• Preference for tertiary qualification with a Degree in Business or similar
