Job Summary:
The (Deputy) Manager, Retail Development plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and supporting strategic decision-making by conducting thorough market research and data analysis. This position focuses on reporting, identifying and evaluating new opportunities via detailed financial analysis to support growth strategies.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial real estate and retail platforms
Generate and qualify leads through networking, digital platforms, referrals, and channel partners
Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, brokers, and developers
Conduct presentations, site visits, and client meetings
Support negotiations and deal closures, including pricing and payment structures
Analyze retail and real estate market trends, demand-supply dynamics, and competitor projects
Prepare feasibility studies, pricing analysis, and location assessments including running financial studies using financial models and ROI analysis
Prepare budgets, reports, dashboards, and presentations for management
Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations teams for documentation and transactions
Maintain proper filing and safekeeping of all files and documents in an orderly manner.
Any other duties and responsibilities, as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor/the head of department from time to time.
