1.Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of IT risk strategy, policies, and procedures in line with regulations and the bank's risk appetite.
- Oversee IT risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting across systems, applications, infrastructure, and projects.
- Coordinate evaluation and treatment of operational IT incidents, losses, and root causes; propose and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, Operations, and Business units to ensure effective controls, risk ownership, and timely escalation to senior management.
- Contribute to IT risk-related components of modernization/technology projects and key strategic initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members; promote risk awareness and support training on IT risk and information security.
2.Candidate Requirements
2.1 Education & Professional Background
- University graduate (full-time, formal program) with at least Fair/Good grade or equivalent in one of the following majors: Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science/MathInformatics, Electronics & Telecommunications, IT Risk Management or related fields, from reputable universities in Vietnam or abroad.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, information security, and relevant legal regulations and international standards.
2.2 Experience & Management Capability
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology or in risk management related to IT.
- Proven experience in a managerial role (managing a department/unit/team/group).
2.3 Skills & Competencies
- Strong skills in work planning, coordination, and execution monitoring.
- Professional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills; strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
- Logical thinking with strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
2.4 Language & IT Skills
- Proficient in English, with the ability to work independently with foreign experts.
- Strong command of IT systems and tools supporting day-to-day work.
2.5 Personal Qualities & Preferred Qualifications
- Under 40 years old, in good health.
- High integrity, ethics, honesty, and strong professional reputation.
- Preference given to candidates holding relevant international certifications in IT, information security, and risk management such as: COBIT 5, ITIL, CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001, CRISC; and those with knowledge/experience in implementing information system security regulations in the banking sector
