Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Deputy General Director to lead and oversee the Company's Rice Business, Production, and Supply Chain Operations.
This position is specifically intended for candidates with substantial leadership experience in the rice industry or large-scale agricultural businesses. Candidates without direct exposure to rice production, rice trading, agricultural commodities, or integrated agribusiness operations will not be considered.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, strengthening operational excellence, developing sustainable sourcing networks, and expanding domestic and export markets while ensuring profitability across the entire rice value chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Leadership
- Develop and execute the Company's business strategy for rice production, trading, and export activities.
- Identify growth opportunities and expand domestic and international markets.
- Build strategic partnerships with customers, distributors, exporters, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
- Lead commercial negotiations and major business initiatives to achieve revenue and profit targets.
Production & Supply Chain Management
- Oversee sourcing, procurement, milling, processing, quality management, warehousing, and logistics operations.
- Develop sustainable raw material and farming partnerships to secure supply stability.
- Ensure operational efficiency, cost optimization, and product quality throughout the supply chain.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production facilities and operational processes.
Export & Market Development
- Lead rice export activities and develop new international markets.
- Monitor global rice market trends, pricing movements, and competitive landscape.
- Ensure compliance with international quality standards and export regulations.
Financial & Organizational Leadership
- Develop annual business plans, budgets, and operational targets.
- Monitor business performance, profitability, and key operational KPIs.
- Build and lead high-performing commercial and operational teams.
- Drive organizational capability and leadership development.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Food Technology, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive leadership role.
- Proven experience within the rice industry is strongly preferred.
- Candidates from large-scale agricultural corporations, agribusiness groups, food manufacturing companies, commodity trading businesses, or integrated agricultural supply chain organizations will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale business operations, production facilities, procurement networks, and commercial activities.
