Job Description

Overview

The Deputy Director – Capital Market is responsible for leading and driving the Group's capital market strategy and execution, including debt fundraising and home buyer financing support.

This role oversees both institutional funding activities (project financing, bonds, bank facilities) and retail financing solutions (home buyer loan support), ensuring alignment with overall business strategy, project execution, and sales performance.

The position plays a key role in capital structure optimization, funding diversification, and stakeholder management, while also leading team development and enhancing organizational capabilities.

Responsibility

1. Capital Strategy & Debt Fundraising (Core focus)

  • Lead the development and execution of group-level capital strategy, including capital structure optimization and funding diversification
  • Drive debt fundraising activities, including bank loans, project financing, and capital market instruments (e.g. bonds)
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of financing transactions: structuring, negotiation, due diligence, and closing
  • Manage funding pipeline to ensure sufficient liquidity for project development and investment activities
  • Collaborate with FP&A and business units to forecast funding needs and optimize working capital

2. Home Buyer Financing Support (Retail loans)

  • Oversee and enhance home buyer financing programs to support project sales and customer conversion
  • Build and manage partnerships with commercial banks to provide competitive mortgage solutions for customers
  • Ensure smooth execution of loan processes, improving customer experience and operational efficiency
  • Align retail financing solutions with overall project strategy and sales targets

3. Financial Modeling & Analytics

  • Oversee development and enhancement of financial models, including funding structures, project feasibility, and scenario analysis
  • Provide strategic insights on investment decisions, capital allocation, and risk management
  • Support evaluation of new projects, M&A opportunities, and joint venture structures

4. Capital Markets & Investor Relations

  • Lead preparation of investment materials, financial analyses, and presentations for Executive Committee, lenders, and investors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and capital market participants
  • Represent the company in financing discussions, negotiations, and strategic partnerships

5. Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with banks, credit institutions, investors, and relevant authorities
  • Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders across Finance, FP&A, Development, and Sales teams
  • Strengthen long-term partnerships to support sustainable funding and business growth
  1. Drive overall organizational health sustainability agenda
  • Lead, coach, and develop both Capital Market (Debt Fundraising) and Home Buyer Support teams
  • Build a high-performance culture with strong ownership, accountability, and collaboration
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and process optimization
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, regulations, and governance standards

Background / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields
  • 8–12+ years of experience in capital markets, corporate finance, banking, or real estate financing
  • Proven track record in debt fundraising and financing execution
  • Experience in managing teams and leading cross-functional initiatives

Specific job skills

  • Strong expertise in corporate finance, capital structuring, and debt instruments
  • Solid understanding of retail lending / mortgage financing
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
