Job Description

Position Purpose

The Deputy CEO – Infrastructure Division is responsible for defining the strategy, governance, and operations of the organization's entire technology infrastructure landscape, including Data Centers, Cloud/Multi-Cloud environments, and GPU Computing Platforms supporting AI/ML workloads. The role ensures infrastructure availability, security, operational excellence, scalability, and alignment with business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Center Infrastructure Management

  • Define and execute the strategy for Data Center modernization and infrastructure development.
  • Oversee servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and shared infrastructure platforms.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, resilience, and service continuity.
  • Manage capacity planning, infrastructure expansion, and resource optimization.

2. Cloud & Multi-Cloud Platform Management

  • Develop and implement Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, and Multi-Cloud strategies.
  • Lead operations of Cloud platforms, Kubernetes environments, and shared infrastructure services.
  • Ensure security, governance, compliance, and cost optimization across cloud environments.
  • Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and Platform Engineering initiatives.

3. GPU Infrastructure & AI Platform Management

  • Build and operate GPU infrastructure supporting AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI workloads.
  • Manage GPU resource allocation, utilization optimization, and performance monitoring.
  • Establish governance policies for AI computing resources, including sharing and consumption models.
  • Maximize infrastructure efficiency while optimizing investment and operational costs.

4. Reliability, Security & Resilience

  • Own infrastructure SLA, SLO, reliability, and performance targets.
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, incident response, disaster recovery, and service restoration capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, risk management, regulatory, and governance requirements.
  • Develop Cyber Resilience and Business Continuity capabilities across infrastructure platforms.

5. Financial & Vendor Management

  • Develop infrastructure investment strategies, budgets, and long-term roadmaps.
  • Manage CAPEX and OPEX for Data Centers, Cloud Platforms, and GPU Infrastructure.
  • Oversee strategic technology vendors, service providers, and contract management.
  • Drive cost efficiency and maximize infrastructure utilization.

6. Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Design and evolve the operating model for infrastructure and platform engineering functions.
  • Lead Data Center Operations, Cloud Operations, Platform Engineering, and GPU Operations teams.
  • Build organizational capabilities, operational processes, and a culture of engineering excellence.
  • Contribute to enterprise technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud, Data Center, or related technology domains.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in senior management positions.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale Hybrid Cloud or Multi-Cloud environments.
  • Strong expertise in Data Center technologies, Compute, Storage, Networking, Virtualization, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience building or operating GPU Infrastructure and AI Platforms is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Cloud Governance, FinOps, Cybersecurity, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity.
  • Demonstrated leadership, financial management, risk management, and vendor management capabilities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of infrastructure and platform SLA/SLO targets.
  • Availability and reliability of Data Center, Cloud, and GPU Platforms.
  • Infrastructure cost optimization (CAPEX/OPEX).
  • Cloud and GPU resource utilization efficiency.
  • Compliance with security, governance, and risk management requirements.
  • Internal customer satisfaction across technology service users.
