Job Description

Scope of work:

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating accounting operations in Vietnam and across the region, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and effective support for management and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Vietnam Entities

  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations (AR, AP, GL) and ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance; provide timely financial reports and analysis to support management decisions.
  • Lead monthly/year-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting, audit, and tax compliance activities.
  • Support the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop the accounting team to ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Finance and higher level.

Regional Local Accounting (Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia)

  • Oversee accounting, reporting, and compliance activities across regional entities and provide guidance to local accounting teams.
  • Ensure timely financial closing, reporting, tax compliance, and audit coordination in line with local regulations and Group requirements.
  • Monitor accounting risks, resolve operational issues, and escalate significant matters when necessary.
  • Support the implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and reporting standards across the region.
  • Provide financial information and analysis to support business performance monitoring and decision-making.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Finance and higher level.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6–8 years of experience in accounting, including experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance
  • Good command in English
  • Proficient in MS Office particularly Excel
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with a practical approach to work.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, integrity.
  • Proactive, cooperative attitude with a willingness to learn and support team development
