Job Description

A. OVERALL:

The Demand & Supply Planning Director is responsible for developing strategies and managing all demand and supply planning activities across the group. This role plays a critical part in ensuring effective coordination between business, production, and supply chain functions to optimize resources and meet market demand. The Demand & Supply Planning Director reports directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain.

B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic developing

  • Develop and implement long-term demand and supply planning strategies aligned with the company's business goals and growth direction
  • Lead and supervise the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, including the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Executive-level Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).

2. Supply Planning Management

  • Direct the supply planning for Sugar and FBMC product lines to optimize production capacity, warehousing, inventory, and transportation.
  • Oversee the development of annual and monthly production plans for manufacturing subsidiaries, ensuring efficiency and optimization.
  • Plan for import and procurement of commercial sugar to meet business and production requirements.

3. Process & System Management

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of business and operational planning processes.
  • Ensure planning and supply chain information systems are well-managed, updated, and aligned with business needs.

4. Product Portfolio Management and Reporting

  • Establish reporting systems to monitor plan execution, enabling timely tracking and adjustments to targets.
  • Analyze performance data and recommend improvements to enhance planning effectiveness.
  • Supervise the management of business product code portfolios to ensure consistency and adherence to agreed principles.

C. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines. Professional certifications such as CSCP or CPIM. Experience working in the manufacturing sector, particularly in Sugar or FBMC industries.
  • Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or related fields, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
  • Strong strategic leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficient in data analysis, demand forecasting, and process optimization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
