Demand Planning Specialist

Job description

• Consolidate, review, and recommend adjustments to sales department demand forecasts.
• Apply and calculate baseline demand using effective forecasting models tailored to the company's business characteristics.
• Prepare materials for monthly Demand Review, Pre-S&OP, and S&OP meetings.
• Monitor slow-moving products, analyze root causes, and provide timely alerts.
• Update and track the progress of special-category products (new products, products registered for national bidding, etc.).
• Identify and warn of risks related to delayed implementation plans or unmet sales demand.
• Manage inventory levels and provide alerts on surplus/shortage based on sales forecasts and franchise products.

Job requirements

Experience & Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or Pharmacy.
• Knowledge of the S&OP process.
• At least 1 year of experience in demand planning.

• Strong analytical skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications (Power BI knowledge is a plus).
