As this is a six-month fixed-term position, the successful candidate is expected to work independently and become fully productive within the first month.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and validate sell-in, sell-out, inventory, retailer portal, and distributor DMS data.
  • Identify and resolve duplicate records, mapping gaps, missing codes, and unit-of-measure or currency discrepancies.
  • Maintain recurring commercial reports covering sales volume, distributor performance, inventory aging, and target-versus-actual performance.
  • Improve and automate reporting processes using Excel Power Query, Power Pivot, structured data models, and Power BI.
  • Maintain proper documentation, data definitions, version control, and reporting governance.

Demand Planning

  • Build monthly baseline forecasts by SKU, channel, and customer using historical data, seasonality, trends, and product lifecycle information.
  • Conduct monthly forecast reviews with Modern Trade, General Trade, and Digital Trade Channel Heads.
  • Consolidate commercial inputs related to promotions, new product launches, delisting, distribution expansion, and festive periods.
  • Prepare rolling 12–18-month demand plans for the monthly Demand Review and S&OP/IBP process.
  • Align forecasts with Sales, Trade Marketing, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Convert monthly demand plans into weekly phasing for Supply and Logistics execution.
  • Track forecast accuracy, forecast bias, and MAPE, and conduct root-cause analysis for significant forecast gaps.

Billing and Inventory Monitoring

  • Monitor daily billing progress against the monthly phased plan.
  • Provide Sales teams with regular updates on stock availability, allocation, billing pace, and order cut-off dates.
  • Track days of stock cover, out-of-stock risks, low-cover items, overstock, and slow-moving SKUs.
  • Monitor aging and short-shelf-life inventory and coordinate appropriate clearance, redistribution, or sell-through actions.
  • Follow up on inbound shipments, production schedules, and confirmed delivery dates.
  • Support stock planning for new product launches and discontinued products.
  • Prepare inventory and service-level reports for weekly supply meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Two to five years of relevant experience in demand planning, supply planning, sales operations, commercial analytics, business analytics, or category management.
  • Experience in FMCG, retail, consumer goods, or distribution is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, particularly Power Query, PivotTable, and Power Pivot.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, including dashboard maintenance, basic data modelling, and DAX measures.
  • Experience handling large, complex, and multi-source commercial datasets.
  • Good understanding of forecast accuracy, forecast bias, days of stock cover, safety stock, sell-in, sell-out, and product phase-in/phase-out.
  • Experience working with senior commercial stakeholders and conducting forecast review discussions.
  • Strong numerical reasoning, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Able to manage recurring monthly deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, independent, and able to take ownership with limited supervision.
  • Available to start within two to four weeks.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced Power BI and DAX capability.
  • Exposure to S&OP or IBP processes.
  • Experience working with Modern Trade retailer portals or distributor DMS systems.
  • Experience in a multinational or matrix organization.
  • Previous experience in a fixed-term, project-based, or temporary assignment.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive monthly gross salary based on experience and interview performance.
  • Full statutory social, health, and unemployment insurance.
  • Additional healthcare coverage in accordance with company policy.
  • Annual leave and public holidays prorated to the six-month contract period.
  • Exposure to end-to-end demand and commercial planning within a leading multinational FMCG environment.
  • Direct collaboration with Channel Heads and senior stakeholders across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Logistics.
  • A visible, well-defined assignment that can strengthen the candidate's demand planning and commercial analytics experience.
