Demand Planner

Purchasing Planning

• Prepare and get approval for Purchase Orders per SOP.
• Create/amend POs in AX based on final invoice; update price and packing list.
• Send POs to suppliers, follow up on production, shipment, and customs clearance.
• Track shipment status and report issues to related departments.
• Follow up on VISA/new item process and notify departments of any issues.
• Handle vendor claims for defects, shortages, or missing parts.
• Maintain updated SKU/vendor database with logistics details.
• Track and update YTD purchase plan.
• Prepare payment requests and coordinate with Finance on overdue payments and supplier credit/debit notes.

Demand Planning

• Work with Sales & Marketing on forecast, promotion, and stock management.
• Monitor stock and sales daily to identify overstock, shortage, or short shelf-life issues.
• Review forecast and stock movement for monthly replenishment.
• Allocate stock nationwide based on forecast and demand.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports as requested by HOD.

Qualifications

• University degree
• At least 2 years of experience in Demand Planning in Retail/ FMCG
• Very sharp with number, and drive on result
• Strong analytical, organizational, decision- making, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business
• Proficient with Excel
• Good command of English in both written & spoken.
