Job Description:
1. Supplier Code, Product Code and Product Status Management on System:
- Prepare all required documents and forms for creating new supplier codes, new product codes, updating product information, and changing product status on the GMD system.
- Follow up related procedures and fees, including supplier code creation fees, new product code fees, and supplier information change fees.
- Prepare and ensure all required food safety documents and related forms for ingredients and finished products are complete, in accordance with the company's QA requirements.
- Support inventory handling and perform product code opening/closing when necessary.
2. Price Update and Order Support on System
- Update selling prices accurately and on time, especially during promotion periods.
- Update purchase prices in the system when there are price changes from suppliers.
- Support stores in placing urgent orders to ensure timely order processing.
3. Inventory, Sales and Profit Data Analysis
- Analyze and consolidate data to review inventory results for each store during stock-taking periods.
- Prepare periodic sales reports.
- Analyze and report business performance of new products or assigned products as requested by management, and propose suitable improvements when issues occur.
- Review stock-taking explanations from stores and provide feedback for adjustment when necessary.
- Check and reconcile payables when there are discrepancies in purchase prices from suppliers.
- Coordinate with stores to prepare monthly production plans for Delica products.
4. Other Tasks
- Collect internal expense documents and update SAP accurately and on time.
- Prepare expense forms on Moinair when required.
- Check product quality, display standards, and product arrangement at the selling area.
- Participate in store checks and provide support to stores when needed.
- Follow up all documents related to contracts, appendices, and contract termination after the Merchandiser completes negotiations with suppliers.
- Regularly review supplier status and coordinate with the Accounting Department to block supplier payables when necessary, in order to protect the company's interests and minimize risks.
- Monitor market trends and provide information to support product development for the Delica category.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct manager and according to the company's business needs.
Requirements:
- College or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Food Technology, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience in purchasing dry food, fresh food, processed food, or ready-to-eat products is preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting, cost control, and product costing is an advantage.
- Experience in managing food courts, canteens, or food manufacturing operations is preferred.
- Good understanding of the food service industry, especially ready-to-eat food products in supermarket chains.
- Good communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently, under high pressure, travel for business, and work overtime when required.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Honest, proactive, detail-oriented, responsible, and in good health.
- Good communication skills in English; Korean is an advantage.
