We are currently expanding our
SOFTWARE&IT SERVICES and are looking for a
Database Administrator to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality projects to our clients.
Job Description
- Work in a structured and methodical manner following industry best practices
- Be supportive and open to change and contribute to continuous improvement and evolution of the development team function
- Help advice l1/l2 support analysts
- Line management of Application Support Analysts
- Ensuring seamless database operations across various environments
- Implementing and maintaining database maintenance tasks
- Ensuring performance and general database optimisations
- Providing support to database related support issues
- Helping with TSQL and MySQL Scripting
- Reviewing Data and data related requirements
- Engaging in strategic capacity and architecture planning
Qualifications
- Either a degree or foundational course that covers object orientated programming
- Demonstratable experience of development. Either some time in industry or personal projects
- Experience working with MS SQL or MySQL
- Proven track record in SQL Server database performance tuning
- Experience working with development and support teams
- Database design & development
