Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Execute test cases with minimal support/review from supervisor
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Review the project plan and specifically the milestones and hours for test case writing and testing
Review specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Analyze and contribute the idea to complete the requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor of degrees in Computer Science, Data Science or a related subject.
From 2-3 years of experience working on testing, including experience in data test projects
Data knowledge: Solid understanding of data concepts, databases, and data processing methodologies
Experience working on data warehouse / data platform projects, including: Test strategy development; Test planning; Test case design for data validation
Strong knowledge of SQL with good skills in writing and optimizing SQL scripts
Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and ETL testing
Data analysis skills: Ability to analyze data to identify issues, defects, and inconsistencies, as well as propose solutions
Experience working with various database management systems, such as: Oracle, MySQL, BigQuery, IBM DB2, etc.
Good collaboration and communication skills
Nice to have: Experience in data testing for banking or financial systems
