JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Solution Design for Customers
- Work closely with the Solution Sales team during the pre-sales stage to understand customer requirements and business needs.
- Design suitable data solutions tailored to each customer, including Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse, Management Information System (MIS), and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
- Develop logical and integrated data architecture models, ensuring requirements for performance, scalability, and security are met.
- Create solution design documents and technical architecture diagrams.
2. Sales Support
- Participate in customer meetings with the Solution Sales team, clearly explaining and presenting proposed solutions.
- Consult and recommend suitable technologies, platforms, and deployment models aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Act as a technical expert to address customer questions, technical challenges, and solution-related concerns.
- Recommend the most suitable technologies, architectures, and platforms based on industry requirements, business scale, and customer goals.
- Prepare and deliver solution demos to customers, highlighting the value and capability of solutions in addressing real business needs.
- Plan and collaborate with the Delivery team to execute Proof of Concept (POC) projects, ensuring quality and effectiveness.
- Evaluate POC results and provide detailed reports to customers, including benefits, findings, and improvement recommendations.
3. Implementation Guidance and Technical Oversight
- Collaborate with the Delivery team to ensure solutions are implemented according to the approved design.
- Review and optimize architecture models during implementation to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues arising during project execution.
4. Technology Research and Innovation
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in the data and cloud platforms ecosystem, including AWS, Azure, and Oracle.
- Evaluate and recommend advanced tools, platforms, and technologies to improve solution quality and performance.
- Build a knowledge repository of standard solutions that can be applied across multiple projects.
5. Internal Collaboration and Reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and Project Delivery teams, to ensure solution feasibility and optimization.
- Report solution design outcomes and improvement recommendations to management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
2. Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, consulting, or solution advisory roles within the data solutions field or related areas.
- Experience consulting and implementing Data Lakehouse solutions using Azure Data Fabric or AWS Data Services is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of data solution architectures, including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning.
- Understanding of cloud data platforms such as Azure Data Fabric and AWS Data Services.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and propose suitable data-driven solutions.
3. Technical Skills
Data Architecture & Technologies
- Knowledge of data architecture and data modeling (logical and physical models).
- Experience with data platforms and tools such as:Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop, Tableau, Power BI
- Proficiency in SQL; knowledge of Python and Spark is an advantage.
Solution Implementation Skills
- Ability to plan and execute Proof of Concept (POC) projects.
- Strong presentation and technical demo skills for customers.
- Business domain understanding in industries such as: Banking, Finance, Insurance, Manufacturing
4. Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially when working with non-technical stakeholders.
