About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Data Security Intern to support our efforts in strengthening the organizations security posture. The role involves researching best practices in cybersecurity, identifying risks, and assisting the technical team in implementing preventive measures.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student or fresh graduate interested in exploring
cybersecurity, IT governance, and risk management in a real-world corporate environment.
Please note: This is an unpaid internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyze industry best practices in data security.
- Assist in identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Support the technical team in security awareness initiatives.
- Propose ideas to improve data protection, access control, and compliance.
- Help with documentation of policies, security checklists, and risk reports.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and IT security frameworks.
- Good research and analytical skills.
- Ability to clearly document findings and proposals.
- Team player with good communication skills.
Preferred
- Knowledge of basic cybersecurity concepts (encryption, authentication, firewalls).
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security features.
- Coursework or projects in IT security, networks, or computer science.
