We are looking for a talented and driven (Senior/Lead) Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer to join our core product team. In this role, you will be directly responsible for designing, building, and scaling the targeting and recommendation systems that power personalized experiences for millions of users across the Zalo Ecosystem.
What you will do
- Algorithm Development: Research, design, and implement state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms (e.g., collaborative filtering, deep retrieval, ranking models, and personalization techniques) to optimize user engagement;
- Model Deployment: Build and maintain scalable pipelines to deploy high-performance machine learning models into production;
- Data Analysis & Engineering: Analyze large-scale user behavioral data and collaborate on feature engineering pipelines to improve model accuracy and throughput.
What you will need
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in roles such as Data Scientist, AI/Machine Learning Engineer;
- AI/ML Domain Knowledge: Strong proficiency in machine learning algorithms, deep learning concepts, and statistics;
- High-Performance Deployment: Solid understanding of deploying and scaling models to production, with a focus on high performance and efficiency under heavy traffic;
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field;
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with tabular data (e.g., customer profiles, transactional logs, structural features) or big data processing frameworks (Spark, Kafka) is a plus.
