Job Summary:

The Data Scientist is responsible for converting complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making and business growth. Job Responsibilities:

Data Strategy & Management

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines across on-premise and cloud environments (e.g., AWS).

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance.

• Translate business data needs into actionable solutions.

Insights & Decision Support

• Analyze datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns.

• Create dashboards and visualizations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Turn insights into actionable recommendations to improve performance.

Modeling & Advanced Analytics

• Develop, test, and optimize predictive and statistical models (e.g., forecasting, risk, personalization).

• Continuously refine models for robustness, scalability, and business impact.

• Apply best practices in experimentation and validation.

Collaboration & Innovation

• Work with product, engineering, and operations to embed analytics into workflows.

• Guide teams and leadership on effective data usage.

• Adopt emerging tools and methodologies to drive innovation.

Governance & Compliance

• Implement emerging technologies in distributed systems, cloud-native engineering, and automation.

• Improve pipeline automation, monitoring, and orchestration.

• Promote a culture of reliable, scalable, and efficient data practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years experience in data science, analytics, or quantitative research.

• Proven track record of delivering impactful insights and deploying scalable data-driven solutions.

• Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) or R, with hands-on experience in large-scale data processing and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Proficiency with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Solid understanding of statistical methods, predictive modeling, experimental design, and techniques like recommendation engines, anomaly detection, or customer behavior modeling.

• Familiarity with data engineering practices and production deployment (MLOps).

• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies aligned with organizational goals.
