As a Data Scientist, you will join our growing data science team and contribute to the development and deployment of innovative AI solutions. You will focus on applying your knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Small Language Models (SLMs) to a variety of challenging problems. You will work closely with senior data scientist, machine learning engineers, and product teams to build and evaluate models, analyze data, and generate insights. Key Responsibilities:
Model Development & Experimentation:
- Assist in the development and training of NLP models
- Familiar with LLMs, SLMs, and other techniques.
- Experiment with different model architectures, hyperparameters, and training data.
- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics.
- Document model development process and results.
- Explore different open source Large Language Models
Data Preprocessing & Feature Engineering:
- Clean, preprocess, and prepare text data for model training.
- Perform feature engineering to extract relevant information from text data.
- Explore and implement different text embedding techniques.
Data Analysis & Visualization:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Create visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior data scientists and machine learning engineers.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand their needs and develop solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- From 3 years of experience in data science or machine learning.
- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and techniques.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, BERT, or similar.
- Experience with Python and relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, transformers).
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis using Pandas or similar tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
Required skills:
- Strong programming skills (Python).
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Familiarity with NLP concepts and libraries.
- Data analysis and visualization skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for AI and a desire to learn and grow.
- Fluency in English is a plus.
