Position Type: Part-time (Hybrid/ On-site at CS office)

Location:28 B2 Street, Sala Urban Area, Thu Duc, HCMC

Working Time:Evening sessions on weekdays; Weekend (align with student schedules)

CoderSchool is a technology education platform that empowers individuals to build meaningful careers in tech. We deliver hands-on programs in Web Development, Data Science, and AI, working closely with industry partners to bridge learning and real-world application.

The Data Science Mentor will support learners through mentoring sessions, helping them understand core data science concepts, solve technical problems, and progress confidently in their learning journey.

• Provide mentoring support to students in Data Science through on 1:1 or small group sessions
• 
  
• Guide learners in core topics including Python programming, SQL, Machine Learning, and Data Visualization
• 
  
• Assist students in problem-solving, debugging, and applying best practices to real-world use cases
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively, adapting explanations to different learner levels
• 
  
• Demonstrate a learner-centric mindset with strong empathy and proactive support throughout the mentoring process

• Technical Skills: Proficient in Python, SQL, Machine Learning, and Power BI/Data Visualization.
• Has working experience with Data (DA, DS is preferred)
• Experience with SQL/BigQuery, Python, Pandas, Seaborn, Matplotlib
• Familiar with data visualization tool such as Tableau (preferred) or PowerBI / Google Data Studio
• Familiar with Traditional Machine Learning (Linear/Logistic Regression, KNN, KMeans, Decision Tree)
• Experience: At least 2 years of industry experience; prior experience in teaching or mentoring is a significant plus.
• Mindset: Strong empathy and a proactive approach to student support, aligning with our Learner Success Operation Playbook.
• Language: Professional English proficiency (reading and technical communication).
