Objectives

We are looking for an experienced and highly operational-driven Data Ops Lead to build, optimize, and scale data operations processes across the organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of data workflows, reporting systems, and operational infrastructure that support business and marketing operations. As one of the key members of the Tech & Data team, you will lead initiatives related to data governance, reporting operations, workflow automation, and operational excellence. Your mission is to ensure data systems operate accurately, efficiently, and sustainably while enabling internal teams to make faster and smarter decisions through reliable data operations.

Job Description

Data Operations & Workflow Management

  • Lead and manage end-to-end data operations workflows across internal systems, reporting infrastructure, and business processes.
  • Design, standardize, and optimize operational processes related to data collection, transformation, validation, and reporting.
  • Monitor data pipelines, reporting systems, and operational processes to ensure reliability, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, data discrepancies, and workflow inefficiencies, proactively driving improvement initiatives.
  • Develop operational standards, governance frameworks, and documentation to ensure scalable and sustainable data operations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to improve system performance, automation capabilities, and operational scalability.

Reporting Operations & Data Infrastructure

  • Oversee daily reporting operations to ensure dashboards, reports, and business data are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with Data Engineers, Analysts, Product, Media, and Business teams to maintain and optimize reporting infrastructure.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of automated reporting systems and internal operational tools.
  • Establish monitoring mechanisms, validation rules, and quality control processes to minimize operational risks and reporting errors.
  • Ensure operational visibility through clear reporting structures and workflow tracking systems.
  • Proactively apply AI tools and technologies to automate operational workflows, improve reporting efficiency, and enhance productivity.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the operational bridge between Tech & Data teams and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Media, Account, Finance, Operations, and Leadership teams to understand operational requirements and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Support internal stakeholders with operational troubleshooting, reporting governance, and process optimization recommendations.
  • Translate operational requirements into scalable workflows and standardized operational practices.
  • Structure operational priorities and align resources effectively across teams.

Team Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Data Operations team members to ensure high-quality execution and continuous growth.
  • Establish operational KPIs, workflows, and quality standards for the team.
  • Monitor workload distribution, team productivity, and operational performance to ensure timely execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement culture with strong focus on operational excellence, accountability, and scalability.
  • Coach team members on operational thinking, process ownership, and problem-solving capability.
  • Promote AI adoption across the team by establishing standards, workflows, and accountability for AI integration into daily operations.

Job Requirements

Skills & Knowledge & Qualification

Must have

  • Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in Data Operations, Business Operations, Data Infrastructure Operations, or related roles.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in team leadership or project management positions.
  • Strong understanding of data operations workflows, reporting infrastructure, and operational governance.
  • Experience working with reporting systems, dashboards, and operational data platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with SQL for operational validation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar platforms.
  • Strong operational mindset with the ability to structure scalable processes and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and cross-functional environments.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to proactively identify and solve operational issues.

Good to have

  • Experience in Digital Marketing, Media Agency, Ecommerce, SaaS, or Tech-driven business environments.
  • Experience working with automation tools, workflow systems, or data integration platforms.
  • Understanding of data governance, ETL processes, and operational data architecture.
  • Experience managing large-scale operational systems or multi-source reporting environments.
  • Knowledge of Python, scripting, or automation tools is a plus.
  • AI Mindset: Actively explore and implement AI tools to optimize operational workflows, automate repetitive processes, and improve team productivity. Comfortable leading AI adoption initiatives and operational transformation through AI-enabled solutions.
