ABOUT THE JOB
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain Data Warehouse solutions to support business and analytics requirements.
- Develop and optimize advanced SQL/T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Perform SQL performance tuning and optimization, including query optimization, execution plan analysis, and indexing.
- Design and maintain effective data models for Data Warehouse and analytics purposes.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages and ETL pipelines.
- Build and maintain data integration and transformation processes across multiple source systems.
- Ensure data pipelines are reliable, scalable, maintainable, and meet data quality requirements.
- Investigate and resolve data, ETL, and pipeline-related issues, including root cause analysis.
- Support downstream reporting and analytics solutions by providing accurate and reliable data.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, business stakeholders, BI teams, and other technical teams to understand and translate analytics/data requirements into technical solutions.
- Apply strong Life Insurance domain knowledge to understand business processes, data structures, and data requirements.
- Contribute to improving data pipeline performance, Data Warehouse architecture, and overall data engineering practices.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
- From 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, ETL Development, or a related role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and advanced T-SQL.
- Proven experience in Data Warehouse implementation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and Data Warehouse concepts.
- Hands-on experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL development, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience in data integration, data transformation, and ETL development.
- Good understanding of SQL performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience supporting data solutions for reporting and analytics.
- Experience working closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand and deliver data/analytics requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
