Data Engineer (Senior / Lead)

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking motivated Data Engineer (Senior / Lead) who are passionate in leading advanced analytics initiatives that transform how NAB evaluates and accelerates engineering delivery and operational excellence with modelling capability requirements and identifying workforce opportunities to support NAB's delivery and simplification agenda.

This role is critical for NAB to move beyond traditional operational reporting toward richer analytics-introducing trend evaluation, scenario modelling, and predictive insights that inform strategic decision-making and uplift delivery maturity across the enterprise.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• ​Building robust data pipelines that can execute at scale
  
• Providing expertise in problem solving with the use of Data
  
  Engineering and adapting best practices
  
• Optimising ETL pipelines for performance
  
• Assist with the development of target-state data pipelines using big data technologies under appropriate governance and approved framework.
  
• Assist in the writing and maintenance of process, technical, and business rules documentation.
  
• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 7+ years in data engineering across large/complex datasets and operate pipelines at scale and integrating multiple source systems​
  
• ​Strong hands‑on skills in Python, Spark/Databricks/Snowflake, SQL, PostgreSQL,...
  
• Familiar with workflow orchestration and CI/CD for data and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP)​
  
• Data modelling, quality, lineage (e.g., unit/integration tests, data contracts, anomaly detection); design for reliability and scale.​​
  
• Familiarity with SDLC and performance/engineering metrics (e.g., DORA, flow, predictability). ​
  
• Fluent English communication with extensive stakeholder management skills
