About The Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer II with 4–6 years of experience to design, build, and optimize modern data engineering solutions on the cloud. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, cloud implementation experience, and knowledge of data governance best practices.
What You'll Do & The Impact You'll Have
- Implement data engineering principles in the design and delivery of cloud-based data projects.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, cataloging, and governance, with hands-on experience in more than one implementation.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines leveraging AWS cloud services=
- Design and manage cloud databases, data models, and SQL-based transformations.
- Maintain and apply Cloud Data Engineer certification (Associate or Professional).
Requirements
What You'll Bring to the Table
Must-Have Skills:
- 4–6 years of experience in data engineering and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles and implementation in real-world projects.
- Experience with data quality, lineage, cataloging, and governance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services in ETL pipeline design and deployment.
- Certified Cloud Data Engineer / Architect Associate or Professional.
- Strong knowledge of cloud databases, data modeling, and advanced SQL.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Databricks or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with AWS Glue, Kafka, EMR, PySpark, and DBT.
- Understanding of lakehouse architectures, streaming frameworks, and modern data workflows
