• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to fuel the AI system.
• Collect, clean, and standardize financial datasets.
• Manage data lakes/warehouses, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and accessibility of large-scale datasets.
• Implement data quality checks (validation, anomaly detection, lineage tracking) to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Build data service layers and APIs to deliver datasets to Quantitative Research, AI Engineers, AI Researchers, and Application Teams.
• Collaborate with AI/Quant teams to design schemas optimized for machine learning, backtesting, and AI agent workflows.
• Set up monitoring, observability, and alerting for real-time data pipelines.

Must Have

• Proven experience building ETL/ELT pipelines (Airflow).
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Strong programming skills in Python; hands-on with Spark, Kafka.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs for data services.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling, governance, and lineage tracking.
• Basic understanding of financial/market data (OHLCV, order book, trading volume, risk/return metrics).
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time/streaming data (tick data, blockchain events).
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) for monitoring pipelines.
• Previous work in fintech/quant research projects.
• Knowledge of data versioning tools (DVC, LakeFS) and feature stores (Feast, Tecton).
• Data as a Product mindset: building reusable, reliable, and scalable data pipelines.
