Data Build Specialist

Position Summary

We are looking for a Data Build Specialist who is detail-oriented, motivated, and eager to support our daily accounting operations for restaurant clients. This is a remote (work-from-home) contract role with the potential to transition into a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

Data Building & Imports

• Create structured data builds in Excel for Restaurant365, including:
• Recipe Build
• Inventory Item Build
• Unit of Measure Build
• Historical Data Build
• POS Mapping
• Ensure all data is accurate and complete before import.

Data Validation & Accuracy

• Use Excel analytical tools to validate imported data, including:
• Historical Data Validation
• Daily Sales Summary Validation
• Identify and resolve duplicate items, costing errors, and inconsistencies in client databases.

Database Cleanup & Support

• Assist the TRA team with Restaurant365 database cleanup to maintain data integrity.
• Troubleshoot R365-related issues and provide support to internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in the restaurant industry (preferred but not required).
• Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced), with strong data analysis and manipulation skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly adapt to new software/tools.
• Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal, conversational level or above).
