Data & Analytics Manager

MOOVTEK is a fast-growing ride-hailing platform operating in Vietnam, offering: Bike, Car, and CarPool.

With more than 1,000,000+ trip requests processed and a rapidly expanding user base, MOOVTEK is transitioning into a fully data-driven organization.

We are building a strong Data function to optimize marketplace performance, improve pricing, strengthen fraud prevention, and support executive decision-making at scale.

We are looking for a Data & Analytics Manager to lead this transformation.

As Data & Analytics Manager, you will own and lead the entire Data function at MOOVTEK.

You will define data strategy, build scalable analytics systems, optimize business performance, and ensure that data drives every major decision across Product, Operations, Finance, and Executive leadership.

This role combines strategic leadership with strong analytical depth and hands-on capability.

• Define and execute MOOVTEK's overall data and analytics strategy
• Establish KPI frameworks, metric governance, and data quality standards
• Build and mentor a high-performing Data team
• Define hiring roadmap, team structure, and performance expectations
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and data-driven decision-making

• Analyze supply-demand dynamics across services (Bike, Car, CarPool)
• Optimize unit economics, pricing models, and service-level profitability
• Lead pricing experiments and performance monitoring
• Identify growth, retention, and operational efficiency opportunities
• Provide strategic recommendations balancing growth and margin

• Design and implement fraud detection and risk monitoring frameworks
• Detect and mitigate risks
• Define risk scoring systems and action policies
• Quantify fraud loss and measure impact of prevention initiatives

• Deliver actionable insights to Product, Operations, Marketing, and Finance
• Develop executive dashboards and reporting cadence
• Lead experimentation (A/B testing) and impact evaluation
• Support strategic planning and scenario analysis

• Define data architecture roadmap (warehouse, pipelines, real-time vs batch processing)
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure scalable and reliable data systems
• Improve event tracking, instrumentation, and data collection standards
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance
  

• 5+ years in Data Analytics, Data Science, or related roles
• 2+ years in a leadership or senior ownership role
• Experience in marketplace, ride-hailing, delivery, fintech, or similar two-sided platforms preferred

• Strong SQL (advanced aggregation, window functions, performance optimization)
• Proficiency in Python for analysis and modeling
• Experience with modern data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.)
• Experience designing pricing systems, experimentation frameworks, or fraud detection models

• Strong understanding of unit economics and marketplace dynamics
• Ability to balance growth, profitability, and risk
• Experience making decisions under uncertainty
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong ownership mindset
