Key Responsibilities
- We are looking for a hybrid Data Analyst / Data Engineer who can deliver end-to-end data solutions, from raw data ingestion to final business-ready dashboards and report templates.
- This role is divided into two main phases:
Phase 1: Report Template Development (Data Analyst Focus)
- Report Design & Mockup
- Collaborate with the Product team to gather business requirements.
- Design report concepts, create mockups, and define key business metrics and KPIs.
- Data Modeling & Metrics
- Prepare sample datasets (Excel), upload data, and design data models within Data Suite.
- Develop measures and calculations to support analytical use cases.
- Template Packaging & Publishing
- Convert completed reports into standardized templates.
- Publish templates to the Data Suite Marketplace.
- Documentation & Product Content
- Write product descriptions, value propositions, and define target user profiles.
- Prepare high-quality visuals and screenshots for product showcase.
Phase 2: Data Pipeline & ETL Development (Data Engineer Focus)
- Source System Analysis
- Analyze ERP source systems such as MISA and Bravo.
- Understand database structures, business logic, and data quality challenges.
- Data Architecture Design
- Design a Common Data Model (CDM).
- Build department-specific Data Marts to support analytical needs.
- ETL Pipeline Development
- Develop transformation logic using DBT and SQL.
- Perform data cleansing, standardization, and query performance optimization.
- Deployment & Operations
- Configure data ingestion using Logstash and Docker.
- Implement data testing (unit & integration tests).
- Deploy and operate the data pipeline in production environments.
Job Requirement
Core Skills
- DBT: Strong experience in managing models, sources, testing, and deployment.
- Advanced SQL: Proficient in CTEs, window functions, and performance optimization.
- Data Modeling: Hands-on experience with dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas) and Data Marts.
- BI Tools: Strong proficiency in Power BI or equivalent BI platforms for dashboarding and metric management.
Additional Skills & Knowledge
- Source Systems: Understanding of ERP data structures (MISA, Bravo) and inter-module relationships.
- Data Visualization: Basic UI/UX mindset with the ability to select appropriate chart types for clear insights.
- Engineering Tools: Familiarity with Git, Docker, Python, and orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
