I - Responsibilities
- Lead or support Data & Tech Legal workstreams on a project basis.
- Develop, review, and update project documentation and governance reports.
- Advise clients on data protection best practices, aligning on strategic approach.
- Work closely with clients IT, security, engineering, and compliance teams to translate data and tech regulatory requirements into system and operational controls.
- Monitor and assess changes in privacy and cybersecurity laws and provide proactive compliance recommendations.
- Develop and deliver training and capacity-building programs for stakeholders.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Line Manager.
II - Qualifications & Skill
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (Certified Lawyer is a plus).
- Certifications such as CIPT, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or CDPSE is an advantage.
- 3+ years of experience in Legal, Compliance, Technology Law, Privacy, or Risk Management.
- Fundamental knowledge of data & tech regulations.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with legal, IT, product, security, and business teams.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills in both English and Vietnamese, and English is mostly used.
- Familiarity with technology environments (cloud, APIs, system architecture, data flows) is preferred.
