Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cybersecurity Specialist role based in Vietnam. The Cybersecurity Specialist will help design, implement, and maintain security controls across client and internal systems, ensuring compliance with PwC standards and relevant regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring security events, investigating incidents, performing risk assessments and vulnerability analyses, and supporting remediation activities. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop security architectures, improve security policies and procedures, and provide guidance on secure practices in areas such as cloud, networks, applications, and data protection. The Cybersecurity Specialist will also contribute to security awareness initiatives and assist in preparing reports and documentation for audits and client engagements.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, including network security, application security, endpoint protection, and data protection.
  • Experience with security monitoring and incident response tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint detection and response) and the ability to analyze and respond to security events.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management practices, penetration testing concepts, and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Understanding of relevant security frameworks and standards (such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls) and regulatory requirements applicable to Vietnam and global clients.
  • Proficiency in working with operating systems (Windows, Linux), basic scripting or automation skills, and cloud security concepts (e.g., Azure, AWS, or other major providers).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate in diverse teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Vietnam and engage with local and international clients; proficiency in English is required, and Vietnamese language skills are a plus.
