Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Binh Duong or Ho Chi Minh City, for a Cutting & Welding Applications Expert. The role involves providing expert-level skills and technical support for cutting and welding applications. The selected candidate will assist with developing advanced welding solutions, conduct on-site evaluations of processes, and offer training and consulting services to clients to optimize their operations. The expert will also collaborate with internal teams to assess customer requirements and ensure the delivery of tailored industrial gas solutions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Support business development (40%)

• Promotion of Messer's Products, Services and Applications to existing and potential customers.
• Identifying customer's issues and consult, suggest the suitable solution with Messer's applications.
• Preparing and proposing technical solutions to customer.
• Support on testing, trial at customer.
• Setup and development of relation with organizations, enterprises, associations in welding industry.
• Making and updating market analysis report of welding industry.

2. Customer service consultant (35%)

• Regularly visit existing customer.
• Building good relationships with customers.
• Coordinating related departments to evaluate and handle customer's issues/ complaints.

3. Demonstration, testing, training (15%)

• Training, demonstration of welding process.
• Testing, trial new products/processes.

4. Market intelligence and market report (5%)

• Establish and update market database in the assigned segment.
• Weekly visiting report on time.
• Update market situation on time.

5. Other assigned tasks (5%)

• Develop, coordinate marketing material.
• Perform other support and supervision tasks according to assigned tasks.

REQUESTED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Degree in Welding technology or Material science, or Engineering and having received additional training as a welding technician.
• Skills: Manual dexterity and safe handling of machines and systems.
• Language: Good written and spoken English.
• Travel: Willingness to travel (approx 50%).
