About the role:
We are looking for an Intermediate Customs Affairs Specialist to join our client - manufacturing company in Ho Chi Minh City, supporting import/export compliance and bonded goods management.
Responsibilities
- HS Code classification and management for imported raw materials and exported finished goods, including handling classification disputes
- Bonded factory account reconciliation and monthly variance reporting
- Manage reverse export materials and reconciliation
- Develop and implement import/export customs clearance SOPs and compliance requirements for internal stakeholders
- Support and respond to customs audits
- Collect and analyze local customs regulations and trade policies, reporting impacts to the business
- Prepare and deliver customs compliance training materials
Requirements
- Proficient in Vietnamese (mandatory)
- Good command of English
- Solid knowledge of Vietnam import/export customs procedures and bonded goods management
- Experience in HS Code classification
- Experience in customs compliance and SOP development within a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Vietnam's Rules of Origin is a plus
Compensation & Work Schedule
- USD 1,000 – 1,200/month
- 6-day work week — Saturdays are flexible, half-day or as needed based on business requirements
