What You'll Need to Do

• Own the end-to-end technology strategy and execution for a high-scale AI product.

• Build and ship core product, backend, and AI capabilities hands-on.

• Design cost-efficient, fast, and reliable systems that work well on low-bandwidth and low-end devices.

• Lead LLM strategy: model selection, fine-tuning, evaluation, monitoring, and iteration.

• Ensure platform trustworthiness: privacy, security, bias mitigation, and auditability.

• Scale infrastructure globally with strong monitoring, reliability, and incident response.

• Hire, lead, and grow a high-performing engineering team and culture.

• Experience scaling a product from early stage to meaningful usage.

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, strong system design skills across web, backend, data, and AI-heavy systems

• Proven experience running LLMs in production, including fine-tuning and evaluation.

• Ability to optimize for cost, latency, and quality at scale.

• Security- and privacy-first mindset with sensitive data.

• Comfort building for emerging markets (low bandwidth, multilingual, diverse devices).

• Hands-on technical leadership: you can architect, code, review, and mentor.
