1. Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
. Develop and lead the CSR and sustainability strategy in alignment with Prudential's business goals and Group/Prudence Foundation frameworks.
. Collaborate with Business Function Heads and Group stakeholders to ensure CSR initiatives support core business priorities and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) objectives.
. Build long-term partnerships with national and local government authorities to address public concerns, support government sustainability agendas, and promote inclusive development.
. Maximize CSR and sustainability impact to enhance Prudential's reputation and gain support from key external stakeholders including media, civil society, and environmental advocates.
. Design and implement meaningful, community-focused campaigns that reflect local needs while staying aligned with Group direction and sustainability principles.
Sustainability Integration
. Identify opportunities to embed sustainability into CSR programs, including climate resilience, financial inclusion, health, and education.
. Monitor and report on environmental and social impact metrics in line with Group ESG reporting standards.
. Advocate for responsible business practices and support internal awareness and training on sustainability-related topics.
. Ensure CSR initiatives contribute to long-term societal value and environmental stewardship.
2. Compliance & Governance
. Ensure all CSR and sustainability initiatives comply with internal policies, Prudence Foundation guidelines, and local regulatory requirements.
. Work closely with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with CSR activities.
. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for audits, regulatory reviews, and internal governance processes.
. Implement controls and monitoring mechanisms to ensure ethical conduct and transparency in CSR execution.
. Uphold data privacy, anti-corruption, and financial integrity standards in all CSR-related partnerships and transactions.
3. External Relations & Communications
. Establish and maintain strong relationships with media, PR agencies, and external partners to promote CSR and sustainability initiatives.
. Lead proactive media engagement and storytelling to highlight Prudential's social and environmental contributions.
. Monitor industry trends and provide competitive analysis and benchmarking to inform CSR and sustainability strategy.
Cross-functional Collaboration
. Foster synergies between CSR, Sustainability, and other departments (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Legal, Risk) to ensure integrated execution.
. Act as a key liaison between Prudential Vietnam and Prudence Foundation for program alignment, sustainability reporting, and impact measurement.
4. Team Management & Development
. Recruit, coach, and develop CSR team members to build a high-performing, impact-driven unit.
. Conduct regular performance reviews and support individual development plans.
. Manage the CSR and sustainability budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI.
. Represent CSR in internal committees and contribute to broader organizational initiatives, including ESG governance.
